Labour Party growth in Reepham

Following a dramatic increase in members since the election of Jeremy Corbyn as leader, Broadland Labour Party has created four new branches.

The Wensum Valley Branch, covering Reepham, Cawston, Foulsham, Great Witchingham, Taverham and Drayton, held its inaugural meeting in March. The next meeting will take place in Reepham on Tuesday 9 May at Reepham Methodist Church, Station Road, Reepham, at 7.30 pm.

Library to feature cookery books during food festival

Reepham Library will be open for an extra day on Sunday 28 May from 10 am – 4 pm to help the town celebrate its foody side at the Reepham Food Festival.

If you feel inspired by the event, we will have a lovely collection of cookery books from across the years to help you cook exciting, exotic and even healthy dishes.

We will also have a children’s activity – we don’t know what yet, but all will be revealed.

New term for Iceni Choir

Following the Iceni Choir’s end-of-term concert at St Mary’s Reepham on Saturday 22 April, the Reepham-based group is already thinking ahead to the next term, which starts on Wednesday 3 May at 7.30 pm at Reepham Methodist Church, Station Road, Reepham.

“We are looking forward to seeing new faces and new starters, while constantly looking out for any new singers that would like to join us in our varied musical experience and repertoire,” said PR assistant Katie Hewson.

Website update

We have made a change to the way the newsletter is delivered. There has been an issue with a number of people who have been not getting their regular email newsletters. This has been due to some email domains being rejected by email servers (mainly talktalk.co.uk and aol.com).
