Reepham Market Place road closure

Reepham's Market Place will be closed to traffic on Thursday 5 December due to the Festival of Light event.

The closure will start at 1 pm until approximately 10 pm (or earlier depending on how long it takes to clear and clean Market Place) between Church Hill and Townsend Corner.

We would be particularly grateful if residents living in and around the Market Place, as well as other users, could move their vehicles by 1 pm. Thank you.

Countdown to Reepham Festival of Light

Reepham's Festival of Light is next Thursday 6 December in the Market Place starting at 4.30 pm with the lantern parade at 5 pm.

Once again, Graham Andrew of FUNfORCE will be heading up the family entertainment with Christmas choirs, Zumba dancing, music, games and snowballs!

Around 35 stalls will be dotted around the market place (including a variety of food stalls, so no need to eat before you arrive!).

Messy Church will also be held in St Michael’s.

Business as usual at the Post Office

It's business as usual at Reepham Post Office for cash withdrawals and all postal and banking services.

As the postbox outside the shop is not operational due to the damage caused on Wednesday morning, customers are asked to either drop their mail off at the post office counter or use one of the postboxes around the town.

While the shop entrance is still blocked off, customers are being asked to enter by the post office entrance, where you can buy newspapers, greetings cards, etc.

So, come on Reepham, support your local post office!

BBC Radio Norfolk in Reepham

BBC Radio Norfolk will be in Reepham Market Place tomorrow morning (Wednesday 25 April) to discuss the effects the proposed offshore wind farm cable routes will have on residents and businesses.

Two companies (Ørsted and Vattenfall) will submit planning applications to lay approximately 60 km of onshore cables from the coast, which will pass through Reepham and district.

Come and have your say tomorrow morning! Plenty of parking available at Stimpson's Piece.
