Support Norwich Mind at Whitwell Station 1 May

There is to be a Charity Walk/Cycle/Run at Whitwell & Reepham Station in aid of Norwich Mind on Sunday 1 May 2016.

The event is being run by Arnolds Keys who would be delighted to have members of the public join members of their staff, family and friends to complete a 5.5 or 1.5 mile loop along Marriotts Way.

Entry is by donation to this very worthwhile local charity.  All under 12s will receive a certificate and medal.

Registration is from 10.30 am with walking, running and cycling starting at 11 am.

Reepham Festival of Light: thanks!

Reepham's first ever Festival of Light was a wonderful, magical evening.  Crowds of people turned up in the market place and - wonderfully - stayed for hours!

Thank you, Reepham, for making it special.  Your support was fantastic.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say a special thank-you to some of the individuals and organisations that helped to make it such a success.

Festival of Light: Reepham's shops and businesses open

Most of Reepham Market Place's shops and businesses will be open during the evening (5 – 8 pm) of the Festival of Light on 3 December. Please call in and see what they have on offer!

Don't forget, too, that Hampton's and Roccoco Loco on Norwich Road will also be open with lots of Christmas gift ideas.

Tweet Tweet!

Twitter...  For some of us it's a fascinating insight into the minds of those we interact with both on a personal and a business front.  For others it's a mysterious activity that has its own language and customs like some kind of secret society.

If you're one of the latter group and if you want people to know about what you do - either as a business or a community organisation - then the Reepham Chamber Social Media Workshop session this Tuesday 17 June, 7.30pm, at Reepham High School is for you.

Shopping Survey - don't miss your chance to share your views

Many of you will already have completed the shopping survey that came through your doors with Reepham Life at the beginning of the month.  If you have - thank you!

If you haven't already done so, please take a moment to complete it either using the paper form or by going online at www.reephamlife.co.uk/shoppingsurvey

Remember, the survey can be completed anyone who lives, works or shops in Reepham and we welcome responses from everyone in the household.

Supporting wounded sick and injured service personnel

This isn't about a Reepham event, but is something that may be of interest to many Reepham people...

The Two Worlds of Charlie F is a production coming to the Theatre Royal Norwich from 6-10 May. The play was created through the Royal British Legion's Bravo 22 project which aims to use theatre to aid the recovery of wounded, sick and injured service personnel returning from places like Iraq and Afghanistan.

Support the Reepham Sport Relief Mile

Reepham is to play host to one of just four Mile events in Norfolk this year.  Our Mile, which is being organised by Reepham Young Farmers Club, will be run from Whitwell Station on Sunday 23 March 2014 from 1pm.

There will be lots to do at the Station, including stalls, train rides, vintage tractors, refreshments and bar so it should be a wonderful day out for the whole family.
