Reepham Tennis Club AGM

Wednesday 14th October, 7pm at the tennis club.
All Members are invited to attend the RTC AGM and cast their votes to elect Committee members for 2016.
Any Members wishing to join the Committee must seek two nominations prior to the AGM to stand for election. This includes existing Committee members who wish to stand for re-election.

Great British Tennis Weekend

Saturday 1st August, 10am-4pm
 
We’re participating in the national GBTW programme this year and are opening our doors (and courts!) to welcome anyone interested in getting back in to tennis or playing tennis for the first time. We can supply equipment to those without any and we’ll be giving away balloons, wristbands and pens to promote the day. Just turn up and come and play!
 

Reepham Tennis Club Junior Summer Camps

Thursday 30th & Friday 31st July
Thursday 13th & Friday 14th August
Thursday 27th & Friday 28th August

 
The camps are 2-day courses for children aged 5–14 where they will learn forehand, backhand, volley and serve with plenty of game practice. The camps are fun and planned to improve skills. The camps will run from 9.30am – 2.00pm and children are grouped by age and ability. Children should come prepared with a packed lunch and plenty to drink.

Wimbledon picnic and BBQ

Sunday 28th June, 12-4pm
Tickets £5 per person (price includes one burger or hotdog, one glass of Pimm’s or non-alcoholic cocktail, strawberries and cream)
Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of social tennis, Pimm’s and strawberries and cream to celebrate the start of Wimbledon. All Members, their families and friends are invited. Non-Members are welcome too.

Tennis coaching – places available

EA Tennis start their coaching sessions at the club this week and there are still some places available in all sessions. Sessions will run for 7 weeks and the first one is free! 
Tuesdays, 10-11.30am, mixed adults
Wednesdays, 3.30-4.15pm, 5-7yrs
Wednesdays, 4.15-5.15pm, 8-10yrs
Wednesdays, 5.15-6.15pm, 11-17yrs
Saturdays, 1-2pm, 11-17yrs
Saturdays, 2-3.30pm, mixed adults

Reepham Tennis Club late summer picnic - take 2!

Our first Summer Picnic back in July was a bit of a wash-out, but in true British spirit we're undeterred and are having another one! Let's try and hold-on to the summer for just a little bit longer!
Join us for our second Summer Picnic on Sunday 21st September from 2pm onwards.
All Members and their families and guests are welcome to bring a picnic and spend a relaxed and fun afternoon playing tennis and other games at Stimpson’s Piece.

Reepham Tennis Club are hosting a Summer Picnic on Sunday 13th July from 2pm onwards.
 
All Members and their families and guests are welcome to bring a picnic and spend a relaxed and fun afternoon playing tennis and other games at Stimpson’s Piece.
 
A ‘pick and mixed’ tennis competition will be organised for any willing participants over 15 years and there will be mini-tennis set-up on the grass around the courts for younger children too.
 

Free tennis coaching taster session

We’re running a free introductory coaching session on Sunday 13th April from 2-4pm.
 
Local tennis coaches Rachael and Gareth Goldson, have kindly agreed to run this free session for us, to assess demand and ability so that we can plan a new programme of coaching to start after Easter.
 
Juniors & teenagers, 2-3pm
Adults, 3-4pm
 

Tennis coaching update

While we are still searching for a coach to establish a comprehensive programme at the club, Rachael and Gareth Goldson who coach at Aylsham, have agreed to provide private tuition to individuals and groups.

Tennis Club free taster sessions – half-term and Saturday mornings

We're pleased to announce that the tennis club is offering free tennis taster sessions every morning during half-term for juniors and teenagers and every Saturday morning, for 5-weeks, for adults.
 
These sessions have been funded by the Norfolk LTA and we would encourage anyone who wants to try tennis to come along and have a go. We can even provide equipment if you don't own any.
