Stimpson's Piece needs your ideas

Stimpson’s Piece has been Reepham’s major recreational area since at least 1948 now covering about 13 acres, a little over 5 hectares, and it is held in trust on behalf of the residents of Reepham. Over the years it has been extended and additional facilities provided and it now offers a pavilion with a large hall, kitchen, bar and sports changing rooms, two full size football pitches with room for smaller junior and practice pitches, tennis/multi-sport courts with a separate club house, a skatepark and a well equipped children’s play area.

I suggest the following for the Community Asset List:

More thoughts about parking in Reepham

I refer to your article in Reepham Life. Car parking is a problem in Reepham. Perhaps the developer of the land off Dereham Road could be persuaded to provide a small car park near the Doctors Surgery - this would have the dual purpose of an overspill park for the Doctors (which car park is often full and people park where they can on Smugglers Lane) and a public park only a few steps from the town centre.
