Vote for the Reepham Food Festival in Tesco and Aviva grant schemes

The Reepham Food Festival is applying for two grant schemes, with the money raised helping to keep it a free event for the whole community.

Bags of Help is Tesco’s local community grant scheme, where the money raised by the sale of carrier bags is being used to fund thousands of local projects in communities across the UK.

When you shop at the Tesco Aylsham store in November and December, you will receive a blue token, which you can put in the Reepham Food Festival slot on the voting box on your way out.

The Reepham Food Festival is also taking part in the Aviva Community Fund, which will finance more than 500 projects across four different fund levels and four categories, with awards to communities throughout the UK.

If your project gets enough votes and impresses the judges, it will be in with a chance of receiving those much-needed funds.

You have to register to vote, but you get 10 votes to use how you want. You can give all your votes to one project or spread them around amongst up to 10 projects. Voting is open between 24 October and 21 November.

More details of both grant schemes on the Reepham Food Festival website. Next year’s festival will be held on Sunday 27 May.
