Broadland District Council is holding an information evening for community groups, volunteers and parish councils to find out about holding events in the local community.
The event will be held on Monday 23 April from 6.30–8.30 pm at the Hellesdon Community Centre, Middletons Lane, Norwich NR6 5SR.
It is aimed at organisations wanting to put on a community event for the first time, making a community event even bigger this year or for experienced organisers who just want a refresher.
The event will include speakers on grants, highways, police and licensing, as well as Q&A sessions.
Special guest will be Fiona Roberts, organiser of the local Olympic Torch Relay and local leg of the Tour de Britain.
The event is free to Broadland community groups, volunteers and parish councils. Refreshments provided.
- To ensure your place, please RSVP by Friday 13 April by email: email@example.com, or call Natalie Kordeczka-Clarke, Community Projects Officer 01603 430522.
