The service was an opportunity to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and also provided an opportunity to appreciate our talented musicians and to hear the Christmas story in readings by staff, governors and students. Revd Margaret Dean gave us all pause for thought with her “thought for Christmas”.
 
The newly formed choir sang “Somewhere only we know” with Alice Buxton performing the solo part beautifully. The jazz band, wind band, string group, guitar trio and orchestra all played music to really put us in the Christmas mood.
