The Bircham Centre building was donated in trust by Samuel Bircham in 1919 shortly after the end of the First World War. During the war, the main building was used as a Red Cross Hospital.

The building is unique, with parts dating back to the 16th century. It is held in trust by the people of Reepham for the people of Reepham and was donated “for use as a reading room and community meeting place”.

The building now houses a charity shop, library, art gallery, book store and the Reepham Archive, and is used by many local groups and businesses for activities and meetings; it also has a large walled garden for use by the public and available for hire.

Without public support and donations, the Centre would not be able to maintain this wonderful old building.

Becoming a member of the 200 Club is one way you can help support the Bircham Centre and all it costs is £12 per year.

Upon joining, you will be allocated a number and placed in a draw each month for £25 (first prize), £15 (second prize) and £10 (third prize).

Please join and support us to keep the Centre open and running for the benefit of all.
