Reepham’s first food festival a huge success

Organised by the Reepham & District Rotary Club, the Reepham Food Festival 2017 on 27-28 May was designed as a day of fun and education for all ages and a platform for local businesses to demonstrate and sell their food and drink products.

There was an exciting programme of events with chef demonstrations, market stalls, schools displays and activities, while the Market Place was a hive of activity throughout the day, which was blessed by perfect weather. Friends and supporters celebrated together at the opening cocktail party and closing supper.

The Rotary Club gave thanks to all those who helped during the event, especially Charlie’s Norfolk Food Heroes for cookery demonstrations, the Dial House and Chef2Dine4 for catering, and all the Rotarians, local organisations and residents who helped to make the festival possible.

The Rotary Club is particularly grateful to the sponsors for pledging the funds that enabled the festival to take place, adding: “We are pleased to be working with Norfolk Food & Drink to promote food businesses across the county.”
