Witness appeal to Foulsham crimes

Norfolk Police are appealing for information following a series of crimes committed in Foulsham overnight on Tuesday 6 February.

Four burglaries, three attempted vehicle thefts and a theft from a motor vehicle occurred on Guist Road.

An attempted burglary also occurred on Hindolveston Road and a further vehicle theft on Station Road.

Items stolen included an iPod and two rings.

A resident of Station Road said he found footprints in the snow around his cars in the drive, which stopped at all the doors and the boot, and also up to garage door and oil tank.

“Next door told me they also have the same, with someone walking around the back of the house and garden, and after speaking to others, footprints have also been found.

“Stay safe and make sure your property is well locked up,” the resident continued. “Pass this on and warn your friends and family that a thieving scumbag is out and about.”

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area.

  • Anyone with information should contact PC Tom Pellew at Aylsham Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
