Brewery creates pale ale for charity

A new ale has been brewed at Panther Brewery in Reepham to raise money for the bereavement charity Nelson’s Journey.

Paws for Thought is a golden orange-coloured pale ale with subtle hints of bitter Seville oranges and citrus flavour/aroma notes. The low level of bitterness makes this a refreshing beer that leaves a gently bitter sweet finish.

Brewed with locally grown Maris Otter barley and dominated by German Mandarina Bavaria hops, the beer is being released in both cask and bottles, and will start appearing in pubs and shops soon.

Proceeds from the special charity beer will be used to help children who have suffered the loss of loved ones.

The new 4.3% beer will be launched on Valentines’ Day, Wednesday 14 February.
