Recorded crime falls in Reepham Parish

The parish of Reepham had 43 crimes reported for the 12-month period ended 31 March 2014 compared with 48 for the previous year.
 
Fifteen crimes recorded in the past 12 months were detected compared with nine in the previous year, according to PCSO Stephen Bridges of Reepham Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), addressing the May meeting of Reepham Town Council.
 

 
Recorded crimes to 31 March 2014 were: burglary dwelling (4), burglary non-dwelling (4), crime other (1), criminal damage (7), drugs offences (3), fraud and forgery (1), sexual offences (3), theft from motor vehicle (2) theft of motor vehicle incl. taken without owner’s consent (TWOC) (1), theft other (4), violence against person (13).
 
PCSO Bridges also reported that the Reepham SNT held their latest Safer Neighbourhood Action Priority (SNAP) meeting on 20 March, with the following priority decided for the next three months: burglary other than dwelling and thefts across the Reepham Safer Neighbourhood area.
 
The next public meeting (SNAP) will be on Thursday 26 June at 7 pm in the Bircham Centre, Market Place, Reepham. This is a chance for all residents living in the Reepham Safer Neighbourhood area to come and have their say in any concerns/issues that affect their neighbourhood.
