The Reepham High School & College team of Emily Green, Suki Martinez, Lewis Clarke and Jak Fuller travelled to the annual Year 7 Mathematical Mastermind Competition at Norwich School on 18 June to compete against nine other schools from across Norfolk.

In the specialist subject round, the Reepham pupils had prepared well and held their nerve and, after the general knowledge round, comfortably beat Norwich High School for Girls by 38 to 32.
The last section was group problem-solving and Reepham combined well to score 12 points out of 16, creating high hopes for overall victory.
The excellent total of 50 was enough to beat Greshams and Wymondham College among others, but the home team just pipped Reepham by 1 point.
