Dashcam appeal after burglary in Weston Longville

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a burglary in Weston Longville.
 
On Thursday 15 September, between 1 pm and 4 pm, offenders entered a property on Church Street through an insecure window.
 
They searched the property and cash and jewellery were taken.
 
Officers would be interested to hear from any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of Church Street between 1 pm and 4 pm.

Heydon bakery closed

Husk Wood Fired Bakery has closed.

The business opened in August 2011 in the former blacksmiths shop in Heydon by Paul White, after he was encouraged to open a bakery, having sold his home-made loaves at Holt Country Market.

Alongside a range of artisan bread, Husk also baked and sold wood-fired pizzas on Friday evenings.

Mr White is now pursuing other ventures.

Police community forum

The next Police Community Forum for Aylsham, Reepham, Hellesdon, Drayton, Taverham and Horsford and surrounding areas will take place via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday 18 October from 6.30–7.30 pm.
 
Those in attendance will be Inspector Kerry Woodbine, officers from the Local Neighbourhood Policing Team and members of the community to discuss local policing issues and successes.
