Two funerals: Grace Edwards and Bob Dagless

Two funerals will be held in August at St Mary's Reepham, followed by burial in the cemetery:
 

  • Wednesday 17 August, Grace Edwards, 11 am.
  • Monday 22 August, Bob Dagless: 10 am.

 
Drivers are requested to take extra care near the church, particularly on 17 August, as that is a market day, also by the cemetery entrance in Whitwell Road.

Royal British Legion trip to Springfields Outlet Shopping

The Reepham Women’s Section of the Royal British Legion is running a coach to the Springfields Outlet Shopping in Spalding, Lincolnshire, on Sunday 6 November, cost £15 (to be paid by 6 October), picking up at Aylsham 9 am, Cawston 9.15 am and Station Road car park, Reepham 9.30 am.

Reepham in bloom

Thank you Geoff Deal of Meloncaulie Rose and Dominique Rudd of Enchanting Gardens for the beautiful flower baskets in the market place – they are stunning.
 

 
And the work continues for Geoff -  rising at 4 am each morning to water them all. More details including pictures in the September issue of Reepham Life.
 

 

Next production planned for Whitwell Station Players

Following the success of their first production – Brief Encounters – last month, the Whitwell Station Players are starting to prepare for their next production, which will be held on 25 February 2017.
 
The Players need more actors and backstage crew, and welcome all over-18s to join. Experience a bonus but not necessary. They meet at the Sidings Bar, Whitwell Station, every Wednesday from 7–9 pm.
 

Town Council meeting postponed

The next meeting of Reepham Town Council will now take place on Wednesday 20 July – a week later than originally scheduled.
 
The meeting will commence at 7.30 pm and will be held at Stimpson’s Piece, Bartle Court, Reepham (note change of venue).
 
A copy of the agenda will be available to view on the Town Council website.
 
The public are welcome to attend Council meetings and there is time allocated to questions and comments from the public.
