Essence Foods receives mentoring prize

Essence Foods of Salle Moor Hall Farm near Reepham has received £1,000 from Norwich-based Kettle Foods after winning a mentoring prize at this year’s North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival.
 
Essence Foods was launched in 2005 by Sarah Savage to produce a range of high-fruit jams, marmalades and relishes, using quality ingredients combined with herbs, flowers and spices.
 

RNS Halloween Party with FUNfORCE!

We at Reepham Nursery School Committee are all on board to give a Halloween Party you won't want to miss! Graham Andrew of FUNfORCE entertainment is very generously providing music, games, entertainment, Panther Brewery are going to supply the bar and we have some fantastic prizes for our raffle! Fancy dress makes it all the more fun!
 
Look forward to our delicious chili, potato wedges and tortillas with lunch bags for the children.

Working the Fields: Photographs from East Anglia

An illustrated talk about his work with East Anglian farming communities by renowned photographer Justin Partyka who, for ten years, has photographed throughout Norfolk & Suffolk, exploring a world of rabbit catchers, reed cutters, and the region’s small-scale farmers; a way of life deeply rooted in the past and its traditional methods and knowledge. His painterly use of colour beautifully captures the special qualities of our light and this timeless way of life.
 

Reepham Diner & Sweet Shop to reopen on 6 October

The Reepham Diner & Sweet Shop is now under new management and plans to re-open on Monday 6 October.
 
The business on Townsend Corner, Reepham, closed several months ago and was put up for sale through Everett Masson & Furby.
 
The American-style diner and traditional sweet shop was established in May 2013 by local entrepreneur Roy Wainwright, who took over Darbys Freehouse in Swanton Morley in July 2014.
 

Reepham Festival of Arts and Crafts

A Christmas Art & Craft Fair will be held on Saturday 29 November at St Michaels, Reepham, from 9 am – 3 pm.
 
With free entry to the event, there will be more than 20 art and craft stalls offering a wide diversity of handmade goods, including wood, ceramics, art, photography, pottery and jewellery made by local crafters and artists. There will also be a small cafe area serving homemade cakes as well as tea and coffee.
 
Reepham Art & Craft Fairs will also be supporting the Festival of Light on Wednesday 3 December.
 

Crime prevention day at Reepham police station

A crime prevention day will be held at Reepham Police Station, Market Place, on Wednesday 29 October from 9.30 am – 3 pm.
 
Residents can speak to a crime prevention officer, who can provide tips on reducing crime from fuel theft to shed breaks and much more.
