Amazon returns now available at Reepham Post Office

Amazon has launched a sophisticated returns service in the past couple of months enabling customers to return items via the Post Office counter with a QR code.

However, the problem has been that Reepham Post Office has not had the capability to upload and print the returns label from the QR code and we have therefore had to turn customers away and direct them to the Royal Mail delivery office in Dereham in order for them to despatch their items successfully.

Market Place road closure on 6 December

Market Place, Reepham, will be closed to traffic on Thursday 6 December owing to the Festival of Light event.

The closure between Church Hill and Townsend Corner will start at 1 pm and end at approximately 10 pm (or earlier depending on how long it takes to clear and clean the Market Place).

It would be appreciated if residents living in and around the Market Place, as well as other users, could move their vehicles by 1 pm on the day.

String concert in aid of Wood Dalling church

An enjoyable and well-received string quartet concert was held at St Andrew’s Wood Dalling on Sunday 28 October.

Three arrangements were performed E. J. Moeran’s E Flat String Quartet; three pieces by Frank Bridge (he is remembered for teaching Benjamin Britten who later championed his music); and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Dissonance, the last of a set of six string quartets dedicated to Austrian composer Joseph Haydn.
