Norfolk Police have received reports of a male cold calling at properties in the Reepham area this morning (Thursday, 7 October) offering to sell furniture.
 
The rogue trader was seen to be using a sign-written white Mercedes Sprinter van.
 
Police advice is to never deal with anyone who cold calls at your property or approaches you in the street offering to sell you something.
 

Norfolk County Council has issued an emergency notice of a temporary traffic restriction on a footpath in Salle parish.
 
Owing to works to replace a collapsed footbridge the use by the public of footpath Salle FP12 from its junction with Salle FP9 to its junction with Holly Lane is  prohibited from 27 September to 17 October 2021.
 
The alternative route is via: Holly Lane, Crowden Lane.

A major investigation into the deaths of three vulnerable people at the now-closed Cawston Park Hospital, near Aylsham, has revealed a string of failings, while police are looking into possible prosecution against those involved.
