To stay or not to stay, that is the question

The next Reepham Business Network meeting will be held on Thursday 12 May at 07.30 for breakfast (bacon sandwich/coffee/tea - £6) at The Dial House, Market Place, Reepham. This special meeting will focus on whether the UK remains part of the EU, or not.
We already have a couple of people who will lead the debate for "staying", but we need one more person who believes we should leave.

HSBC business cash deposits at the Post Office

I've just made our first HSBC business cash deposit at the Post Office and it was so easy. All that's needed is your HSBC debit card, no forms to complete – yippee!

My next challenge will be paying in business cheques, but the wonderful Diane says all I need to do is complete a paying-in slip from our HSBC paying-in book and write our company bank account number and sort code on the back of the cheque and pop it in a cheque deposite envelope, which are available in the Post Office.

Festival of Light plans well advanced for 3 December spectacular

Plans for a glittering evening of fun and fundraising on Wednesday 3 December are well under way.

Reepham’s Market Place will be the centre of the event with the big switch-on of the Christmas lights.

A timetable of events is being put together to entertain both young and old from 5 pm through to around 8 pm.

Homerton House B&B to close

Homerton House B&B on Cawston Road, Reepham, will close at the end of August.

Its success has meant that we have been struggling to find time to offer bed-and breakfast accommodation alongside Reepham Life and our textile publishing business – and have a life in this beautiful town.

There is a huge, year-round demand for more B&B rooms in the Reepham area, so if you are interested in starting one up, please feel free to contact me for help or advice.

Accommodation needed in Reepham

The closure of the Old Brewery House Hotel could have a massive impact on local businesses as there will no longer be any accommodation in Reepham other than a couple of small B&Bs on the outskirts of town.

Our shops, pubs and cafés rely on visitors to survive, and this is where you may be able to help and earn yourself a small income at the same time. Can you offer B&B accommodation?

Ollands Road closure

Ollands Road will be closed 18-22 February from 8 am to 5 pm for aprrox. 20 yards from the Church Hill end while work is carried out to install a new electricity connection.
