Musicians to perform free at online music festival

To overcome fans’ disappointment when it became clear the annual music festival would not be able to go ahead in its usual form this summer, the Reepham Festival organisers have created a free-to-watch online event for 2020: Virtually Reepham Festival 20 will take place on Saturday 8 August from 6–9 pm.

This will feature acts from past and future festivals, presenting a mix of socially distanced, live and pre-recorded videos, living room sessions, shout-outs, festival flashbacks and chats during the evening.

Hosted by Norwich-based beatbox singer and songwriter Differential and Rock ‘n’ Roll Andy, a singer/songwriter and guitarist from Peterborough, the event will include performances from Bad Touch, Buster James, Hurricane Wolves, Izengard, Jeramiah Ferrari, Lisa Redford, Mammal Not Fish, Revival, SonsOfMark, Tragedy (pictured above) and Walkway, plus a special “Introducing” slot featuring Maisie Mae.

All the acts will be performing entirely free, having put their performances together at their own expense.

As with every other year, the Reepham Festival will be looking to support local charities, and will be setting up a JustGiving page for donations.

Virtually Reepham Festival 20 will be streaming on the following platforms:
