A major fire has collapsed the roof of a large residence in Norwich Road, Reepham, as emergency services fought to control the blaze.
According to eye-witnesses, at least eight appliances, including an aerial ladder platform plus a control car and assorted police, battled the fire, which started in the early afternoon of Sunday 17 October.
The road was closed off on the approach to the house and no injuries were reported.
It is understood the property was previously owned by former Broadland MP Keith Simpson.
An investigation has begun into the cause of the fire.
