Cawston’s Red Rose girls football team received a grant from Reepham Lions last spring to enable them to purchase new kit, including shirts branded with the Reepham Lions name.
Fundraising by Reepham Lions continues on a regular basis via the Broadland Community at Heart Lottery. Thank you to everyone who has bought tickets: we had a further two £25 winners recently.
We are also grateful to everyone who has placed their change into our fundraising buckets at the Reepham Co-Op and the Norfolk Farm Shop & Deli in Reepham.
We are also continuing with our collection of spectacles, which are sent to those in need all around the world via Lions International, along with a collection of designer spectacle cases which are sold to raise funds in a Lions International campaign.
Reepham Lions have begun to plan fundraising and community events for the remainder of 2022.
Already in the diary are a tombola at the Reepham Food Festival on Sunday 29 May as well as helping with Reepham’s planned Platinum Jubilee celebrations on the weekend at the beginning of June. We look forward to seeing you there.

New website launched
Reepham Lions’ new website can be found HERE. It includes information about their latest campaigns and news about donations that have been made to a wide range of people and organisations in the local area.
Lions members worked with local web designer, Alec Moss of Business Webpage to come up with a website that not only provides details of their activities but also reflects the friendliness and approachability of the club.
The club welcomes approaches for funding support: all applications are considered by the club service group and final decisions are made at the club meetings.
Reepham Lions meets on the first Thursday of the month, 7 pm for 7.30 pm at St Michael’s, Reepham. For more details, send an email.
