At around 6.20 am on Tuesday 16 August, police were alerted that manhole covers on Nowhere Lane had been pulled up and that cables inside had been cut.

Officers attended and following enquiries detained a man in his 50s on nearby Lyng Road at around 10.30 am.

The suspect was taken to Aylsham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and later released under investigation while enquiries continue.
