Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios comes to Reepham

For the first time, Reepham artists have joined ranks to create a new Art Trail as part of the Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios scheme and the Norfolk & Norwich Festival.

From Saturday 24 May to Sunday 8 June, 13 local artists will be exhibiting across four venues and welcoming visitors into their studios to view new work and demonstrate their skills.

Starting at The Moor, Reepham, you will see an exciting array of art and traditional crafts including paintings, original prints, contemporary textiles and heirloom quilts, pottery and ceramics, photography, illustration and modelling, silver and ceramic jewellery, hand-bound books and more.

The art trail then leads on to Mill House, Norwich Road, Booton, where nine artists will be showing their work under the group name of “Through the Red Door”.

The trail ends a short distance away at Grove Farm Barns, Booton.

Some of the artists also showed at taster exhibitions at The Forum Norwich, in April, and will at The Atrium, North Walsham, from 1–17 May.

This year, Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios celebrates its 20th anniversary with a record 550 artists taking part. The county will spring to life with colour and creativity, so be sure to check out all of the events and workshops that are on offer for all ages.

Further details can be found in the bright yellow NNOS brochure and on the trail map/flyer, which can be found in various Reepham locations, including the Bircham Centre, Reepham Post Office and Hampton’s Home & Garden.

Core opening times are 11 am – 4 pm, but times may vary for individual exhibitors. Please check the brochure for details or telephone 07766 240031 (daytime only).
