The Station Road Bottle bank is full and is now surrounded by hundreds of bottles and some broken glass. This has been reported to Broadland District Council this morning, 3 April, and they have informed the contractor that the matter is urgent and clearance is to be treated as a high priority. The contractor has undertaken to empty the bottle banks this week.
 
In the meantime, please keep glass for recyling at home or in the boot of your car.  Please don’t add to the glass around the bottle banks because this will only make the problem much worse and increase the likelihood of damage to tyres or injury.
 
May we ask you to let your friends and neighbours know about when the bottle banks will be cleared and our request not to add to the problem.
