Following a successful inaugural food festival in Reepham earlier this year, Reepham & District Rotary Club is to organise a follow-up event on Sunday 27 May 2018.
The 2017 festival in the Market Place attracted an estimated 1,500 visitors to more than 30 stalls, cookery demonstrations and school activities. New ideas involving food and farming and additional entertainment are being planned for next year.
The Rotary Club was pleased with the way the community supported the event as many local organisations joined with Reepham’s schools in participating in the festival. All ages were involved in a wide range of activities around food, farming and food production.
The club is seeking the grants and sponsorship essential to support the Reepham Food Festival 2018. Any ideas for extending or improving the event are welcome.
