The mobile library – a stop near you

Norfolk County Council’s eight mobile libraries visit villages across the region on a two- or four-weekly rota, making around 2,000 stops in total.

With longer loan periods and no charges for overdue books, residents in many Norfolk villages can take full advantage of the mobile library by reserving (for a 60p charge) books online, or on the library, and have them brought to you and your family.

Items for collection include fiction and non-fiction books for adults and children, large-print books, DVDs (small charge), and audio books on CD and tape (small charge). These can be returned to any branch library or mobile library in Norfolk.

In the Reepham district, the mobile library visits:

  • Cawston – Monday, four weekly, next visiting 12 March and then 9 April (route no. CEN145)
  • Weston Longville – Wednesday, four weekly, next visiting 19 March and then 16 April (route no. CEN147)
  • Bawdeswell, Foxley, Great Witchingham, Lenwade and Sparham – Tuesday, four weekly, next visiting 13 March and then 10 April (route no. CEN243).
