Primary School makes poppies for Remembrance assembly

Reepham Primary School held a special Remembrance Assembly on Thursday 8 November.

The School Council led the whole school with information about the 100-year celebration of the end of the First World War and a song that had been written by some of the older students about the soldiers lost from Reepham.

All pupils made their own poppies from plastic bottles, which they carried into the assembly and put in specially created display boxes at the front of the hall.

The poppies were then taken to St Mary’s in Reepham, where they were put on display for the Sunday Remembrance Service.
