Located at No. 21 Church Hill, next to the Spar, Koti Store (koti is Finnish for home) aims to help reduce single-use plastics, where staple products can be refilled with planet-friendly products, according to Heidi Poynton, who set up the business at the end of November.

Products on sale include washing up liquids, multi-surface cleaner, washing liquids, hand-wash, household brushes, soap, glue, twine, chewing gum, toothbrushes, toilet rolls, deodorant, gifts, throws and books.

Koti Store is currently sharing the space with artist, illustrator and designer Lucy Loveheart selling a range of cards, prints, gifts and decorations, and the property owner, who is selling scarves and jewellery.

Opening hours: Monday – Wednesday 9 am – 5 pm; Thursday 9 am – 1 pm; Friday 9 am – 5 pm; Saturday 10 am – 4 pm; Sunday closed.
