Algy’s Farm Shop in Bintree has introduced a drive-through service, which will allow customers to drive up to the store and place their order from a list.
Staff will then pack the order (subject to availability), which will take a few minutes, and customers can then pay and receive their order.
Currently, the waiting time is around 10-20 minutes. Algy’s said the drive-through system allows for minimal contact between people.
Owing to the coronavirus outbreak, the farm shop has extended its opening times by an extra hour from 9 am – 5 pm Monday to Saturday.
There are now also strict limitations on the number of customers allowed in the shop at any one time with spacing markers shown on the floor.
