The agency is a small business owned by Carolyn Woodrow, a long-term resident of Reepham.
 
Having worked for large care organisations, Carolyn was determined to create a manageable Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered care agency that always ensures the clients’ needs are put first, as well as the well-being and safety of committed staff.
 
The agency’s goals were put to the test with the Covid-19 outbreak in March. To significantly minimise the risk of infection between care staff, clients and their families, pre-empted continuity plans were immediately implemented.
 
Care staff were allocated individual clients based on their skills and experience. As a result of everyone’s commitment, the agency has remained Covid-19 free and able to safely support people who wish to remain independent in their homes.
 
Carolyn stated: “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Danni and Jo for their dedication to their clients. I am also thankful to the clients and their families for having faith in our capabilities.”
 
In normal times, the team would regularly visit the office and, although everyone misses the cake and coffee, the staff soon adapted.
 
Senior care assistant Danni explained: “It’s been difficult, but we have all been in constant communication. I have felt supported all the way by Carolyn and Jo; it’s like we have never been apart!”
