The Crown taken off the market

The Crown, which has been up for sale for the past three years, has been withdrawn from the market.

It is understood that the agents acting for owner Punch Taverns received a local offer for the full asking price of £250,000 (excluding VAT) for the public house in Ollands Road, Reepham, but for some undisclosed reason this was refused before the property was taken off the market.

At the end of last year, an appeal by two local residents to purchase The Crown and convert it to a residential dwelling was overturned by the Planning Inspector.

The public house has also been placed on Reepham’s community asset register, which gives the community up to six months to put in a bid to buy the pub should it be put up for sale again.
