Thanks to poppy knitters for Reepham Remembering

Thanks to everyone who has been knitting poppies for the Reepham Remembering project.

We are collecting these from the beginning of October and will be attaching them on Saturday 13 October in St Michael’s, Reepham, from 10 am – about 3 pm (or until we finish). All are welcome to help.

Please bring the poppies on the day, leave them at the back of St Mary’s or with the churchwardens, David Luton-Brown and Pauline Cooper.

If you have an issue or concern where you live, tell the police and their partners at this meeting, which sets priorities for the next three months. All welcome to attend.

The team’s current priority: targeted patrol – antisocial behaviour on the recreation grounds in Reepham and Cawston.

To contact Norfolk Constabulary, dial 101. Always dial 999 in an emergency

Fireworks at 1.45 am Sunday 5 August

Did anyone hear the fireworks in Reepham (wedding at Booton?) at 1.45 am this morning (Sunday 5 August) or know whose they were?

It is against the law for anyone to set off fireworks between 11 pm and 7 am, except on certain occasions (such as Bonfire Night, when the cut off is 12 midnight, and New Year’s Eve, Diwali and Chinese New Year, when the cut off is 1 am).

Call 101 to give any information to the police.
