Reepham16 announces headline act

Reepham Music Festival has announced Toploader will be the headline act for 2016, which will be held on the weekend of 13-14 August.

Since forming in 1997 the post-Britpop band has sold more than two million albums with a string of top 20 hits both home and abroad.

Their debut album, Onka’s Big Moka, sold over one million copies and remained in the Top 5 of the UK album chart for more than six months, earning them four Brit Awards nominations.

Their single Dancing in the Moonlight became a global hit, spending over a year in European Airplay Charts, transforming Toploader into a household name.

In 2013, the same track re-entered the Top 40 for three weeks, an incredible 13 years after it was first released, cementing it as one of the biggest songs of recent times.

Reepham16 has also announced that Dire Streets, the UK’s leading tribute to Dire Straits, will be performing, along with Walkway, Jeramiah Ferrari, Chasin Vegas and Morganway.

Festival director Steve Jenkins said: “Now preparing for our ninth year, once again, we feel that the calibre of the acts is second to none – and we’ve still another 10+ acts to book.”

Festival early-bird tickets go on sale in February 2016.
