Christmas Shopping Evening

Reepham's second late night shopping event took place last week and, to be frank, it wasn't as well attended as we had hoped.  However, some of our great shops did report success.  Thank you very much to all those shops who opened on the night - your support for this event was really appreciated.

Clearly many potential customers were put off by the weather - it was the day of the big storm surge - although as the evening progressed the wind died down and the sky cleared to a beautiful starlit night...

Santa did manage to get there and had lots of junior visitors.  Thank you, Reepham Scout Group, for arranging his visit and Norfolk Country Cottages for providing his temporary grotto.

Reepham Market Place looks wonderful with its central Christmas Tree - kindly provided by Reepham Rotary - and the smaller trees mounted on the buildings all around.  Reepham businesses have sponsored the smaller trees.

I have heard many people saying what a shame it is that we don't still have a proper "Christmas in Reepham".  I do agree and maybe now is the time to start thinking about next year.  Reepham Chamber doesn't have the manpower to organise it but we would be happy to give support to anyone willing to take it on.  Just contact us via the Chamber website at http://www.http://www.reepham.uk.com/index.html.
