Scottish singer-songwriter Callum Beattie will return to this year’s Reepham Festival, fresh from the release of his Top 5 album INDI.
Before heading to the town’s popular summer music event, which will take place on the weekend of 8–9 August, Beattie will perform to a sellout crowd at Edinburgh Castle, then will headline the final night of the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, following James and The Human League.
Reepham Festival organiser Tom Crisp said: “We are humbled that Callum has taken time out of his busy schedule to come and support us again this year. We can’t wait to hear the songs from his new album, as well as some of the favourites that won over the crowd last year.”
Joining Beattie on the bill is acclaimed British singer-songwriter Dan Owen, who is known to deliver powerful live performances, with his raw, soulful vocals and emotionally charged songwriting. Owen has previously supported major artists including Catfish and the Bottlemen and Birdy, and has built a strong reputation on the festival circuit for his captivating performances.
With music spanning rock, pop, folk and nostalgia, Reepham’s annual music festival continues to attract audiences from across Norfolk, the rest of the UK and even as far away as Japan.
This year’s lineup features a mix of national and local acts including Beau Bennett, Lisa Redford, The Vi5ion, Imagine The Beatles Tribute act and Norfolk band The Black Shucks, underlining the festival’s ongoing commitment to showcasing home-grown talent alongside established names.
The event, run by volunteers from the area, aims to continue its tradition of bringing live music and community spirit to the county. It remains not-for-profit, with all proceeds reinvested to support the festival and local charities.
Tickets are available online or from Norfolk Print & Design, Market Place, Reepham.
