The Reepham Good Neighbour Scheme (RGNS) desperately needs more volunteers to man the telephone helpline. Can you lend a hand? There is no set rota – you choose when you are available.
 
The job entails manning the RGNS mobile phone (at your home) for a period to suit you and recording details of who is calling to request, for example, a lift to the GP or a hospital appointment, their address, telephone number and the details (where, when and time) of the appointment.
 
You will then need to email the volunteer drivers with this information to ask who is available on the day. Most calls are for hospital, doctor and optician appointments.
