By Geoff Fisher Re the rhythmic drumming/clunking noise heard at various times over Reepham, which your correspondents refer to. We hear it too, most nights, and also during the day, in Bircham Road.
It’s been going on for several months now, and varies in loudness, depending on the wind direction, but it is penetrating enough to mean we are unable to sleep with our bedroom windows open at night.
We wondered if it might be coming from the sewage treatment plant off Norwich Road or even the substation at Salle?
