Latest news from Reepham WI

Sadly as you know by now the WI Quiz has been cancelled, but we will be back and next time better than ever!

Our next meeting on Thursday 17th October will include a talk by Derek Player on the work of St Martin's Housing Trust. We shall not be making a tea/coffee etc. collection for 4Women that evening, but hope we will be able to give some support to the Housing Trust in the near future.

Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday 21st November. Remember this is your chance to vote in your new Committee and Officers.

Next Reepham Chamber Meeting 1 Oct 6 pm at the Bircham Centre

The Chamber usually meets on the last Tuesday of the month, but on this occasion we have deferred the meeting until Tuesday 1 October. Meeting time is 6 pm and we will be in the upstairs room at the Bircham Centre. Representatives from businesses from Reepham and the surrounding area are welcome to attend.
We have lots to talk about: the Chamber is heavily involved in delivering the projects that have been proposed to help Reepham develop in this challenging financial environment.

Collectors needed for Poppy Appeal

The Royal British Legion, Women’s Section needs volunteers to help sell poppies in late October. We need only around two hours of your time to go around collecting for Remembrance Sunday on 10 November. In particular, we are in desperate need of one or two people for the Booton and Wood Dalling areas. Please telephone Moira Dye, who is the Poppy Appeal organiser for the area, on 01603 871791.
