Norwich Road, Reepham, has been re-opened, the works having finished early.
However, Sanders Coaches have just emailed to say their buses will be operating from the fire station until 7 November. This may change, so check direct with them.
Nofolk County Council Highways have announced that the through route Market Place-Church Hill-Norwich Road will be closed during the week 2-7 November for installation of bollards.
However, Market Place will still be open for access and parking; Church Hill will be open for access as far as Ollands Road; Norwich Road will be open for access from Bircham Road to Rococo Loco, but note there is no turning space after Bircham Road.
Vodafone have informed us at short notice that on Tuesday 27th they will be installing equipment behind the Country Cottages building in the Market Place. This wll necessitate large lifting gear that will block the roadway outside the former bank, so some parking spaces may also be unavailable. Plese take very great care particularly if turning left from the Townsend Corner direction.
The funeral of Mr Spicer will take place at St Mary's Reepham on Friday 23 October at 3 pm. Drivers please be aware of possible congestion in Market Place/Church Hill from 2.30 pm. The service will be followed by a cremation so there will be no traffic issues at the cemetery.
The next meeting of Reepham Town Council has been brought forward one week to Wednesday 4 November starting at 7.30 pm in the Town Hall, Church Street, Reepham.

The first meeting of the Whitwell Station Theatrical Society will take place on Wednesday 28 October from 7 – 8 pm. This is a new amateur theatre group for over 18s based at Whitwell Station, Whitwell Road, Reepham.
Subsequent meetings to express interest and join in a workshop will be held from 7 – 9 pm on Wednesday 4 November and Wednesday 18 November.
Regular films are returning to Reepham Town Hall. Now under the supervision of Caitriona Boal, Reepham Village Cinema’s next screening will be The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (PG) on Friday 6 November.
