Founded in 1969, Wensum Valley Nursery School aims to provide a quality pre-school experience in a safe, happy and stimulating environment. We welcome all children and their families. We value each child's individual stage, ability, culture, religion, language and family group. The nursery promotes the philosophy of learning through play. Provision is made for a wide variety of activities with staff, sensitive to the needs and interests of the child.

We are based in Whitwell, which is one mile from the lovely Georgian Town of Reepham in Norfolk. We are a working railway, running steam and diesel engines on our line. We are open all weekends and are in steam on the first Sunday of each month and on several of our special events.

Whitwell Common is a spring fed valley fen in the Blackwater tributary of the river Wensum. It is situated approx 2 miles to the south west of Reepham (Grid Reference TG088206) and covers approx 20 ha. Designated a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) in 1965, it is one of the few remaining open fen habitats typical of Norfolk river valleys. Up until the 1930s local graziers and the retained "hayward" maintained the open habitat and gained benefit from the common.

Wood Dalling Village Hall is available for hire for a variety of uses. Coffee morning held on the first Saturday of every month, 200 Club draw, book stall, raffle

I am a romantic at heart and my inspiration for my wedding dresses comes from everything that surrounds me – from a rose in the garden to the people that I love.

I was born in Denmark and came to England to study women’s wear fashion at Central Saint Martin’s College and graduated with honours in 1996.

In 1996 with the help of a grant from the Prince’s Youth Trust I went into partnership designing and making wedding dresses. We sold dresses from our own studio in London and also through Tatters in Harrods, The Wedding Shop, Fulham, Sweet Dreams of Guildford and White of Wimbledon. The following year Horton-Mogensen won The New Designer of the Year award through Brides and Setting up Home magazine.

In 1997 I married and moved to Norfolk, where in 1999 I opened my own shop – Katrine Mogensen Bridal Couture in the market town of Reepham.

I combine my bridal business with being married with two children and my love of design follows through into the passion I have for creating a family home.
