Green Room gives used clothing a new lease of life

The Green Room clothing agency on Church Hill has been a part of Reepham town centre for eight years. Owner Jo Such is proud of that and says her regular customers make it a nice place to work in.

Ms Such is into both clothing and recycling and enjoys combining the two. The items she selects from those brought in are priced to sell and kept for 4–6 weeks, the proceeds being divided 50/50 with the supplier.

New or as close to new as possible items (no vintage) are required. The autumn season has started and clothing, bags, shoes and hats are displayed in a spacious layout; mother-of-the-bride outfits are a speciality.

The Green Room is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30 am – 3.30 pm. There is a Facebook page and the business does not sell online. The shop has a friendly atmosphere and personal service is key.

The Dial House has hosted Ladies’ Nights when The Green Room featured as a pop-up shop and this may happen again.

If you have clothing you would like to sell, pop in and talk to Ms Such, who will be pleased to offer advice.

It is easy to make mistakes shopping and this is a good way to pass garments on to someone who will appreciate them.
