Flowers stolen from outside Reepham home

Thieves have stolen more than £100 worth of flowers and plants from outside a house in Reepham. The incident took place on Friday 4 March, between 1.30 pm and 2.15 pm.

Suzanne Goodyear, who runs Mae Rose Florists from her home in School Road, was indoors at the time when someone stopped by the premises, presumably in a car, and took the goods, which included potted up mini-gardens, planted displays, shrubs and planted baskets, from the display stand with an “honesty box” – just two days before Mothers’ Day.

Ms Goodyear said: “I spent a lot of time that week preparing my stock as all my planted displays are potted up and made by myself.

“My husband and I and our two young children love living in Reepham and were quite disappointed that something like this has happened in such a lovely town.”
