Elsing pub to become café, restaurant and deli

A 16th-century pub in Elsing that has been closed for two years will soon reopen as a cafe, restaurant and deli.

Work is currently under way to transform the Mermaid Inn pub, which is believed to have been built in 1540, as it becomes the Lemon and Rosemary Yard, owned by business partners Abbi Saunt, former head chef at Creake Abbey Food Hall and Café, and Alexandra Wrzava.
