Police appeal following fatal collision in Great Witchingham

Norfolk Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Great Witchingham.
 

 
The incident happened on Tuesday 10 October on Porter’s Lane at around 4.15 pm when a Triumph motorcycle collided with a heavy goods vehicle.
 
The motorcyclist, who was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries and later transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, has since died.
 
The driver of the HGV was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess drugs and alcohol and remanded in custody. He has since been released on bail until 9 January.
 
Officers are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle to get in touch. They are also keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage.
