Extraordinary meeting to discuss development plan for Reepham

An extraordinary meeting to discuss the Site Allocations Development Plan Document (DPD) and Development Management DPD will be held on Tuesday 27 May starting at 7.30 pm in the entrance lobby of Reepham Sixth Form College, Whitwell Road, Reepham.

This meeting has been called by Broadland District Council and District Councillor Chris Wheeler with the support of Reepham Town Council to “discuss the current stage of the site allocations process and how best to submit representations”. There will be an opportunity for anyone interested to come and listen to what Broadland has to say and raise any concerns.

The Site Allocations DPD and Development Management DPD are now at the Proposed Submission stage (the formal stage prior to submission to the Secretary of State). It is a legal requirement that comments must relate to the documents’ “soundness” and/or legal/procedural compliance in order to be accepted by Broadland District Council.

Anyone wishing to make a representation should ensure their comments relate to these specific matters. Any representation must be submitted by 5 pm on Friday 30 May 2014. Comments relating to soundness that are duly made will be published on Broadland’s consultation portal and made publicly available.
