Fund launched to tackle loneliness in Reepham area
A new funding opportunity has been launched for projects aimed at tackling loneliness in Reepham and its surrounding area (within an eight-mile radius), as well as the Lakenham ward of Norwich.
The Countering Loneliness Innovation Fund, which is now live on the Norfolk Community Foundation website, has grants of up to £5,000 available.
Examples of fundable projects include community-based activities that form social connections, such as film clubs, book clubs, walking groups, stay-and-play sessions, youth clubs, community cafés and coffee mornings, exercise groups, arts and crafts groups and skills-sharing sessions.
The grants are open to charities, faith organisations, parish/town councils, social enterprises/community interest companies and voluntary/community groups.
The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Friday 7 June.
